In Round 1 of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Playoffs held on the 30th at Chzzk LoL Park in Jonggak, kt Rolster claimed Game 1 against Dplus KIA. A surprise top Trundle pick made its presence felt starting from the laning phase, and all five players executed excellent aggro-juggling in every teamfight to dismantle Dplus KIA.
Dplus KIA were the first to score in Game 1. In a teamfight at the Void Grubs, they picked off Jeong “Jiwoo” Ji-woo’s Ezreal and successfully repelled an ambush attempt by Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan’s Jarvan IV, exchanging kills 3 to 2. In response, kt Rolster caught out Sin “Smash” Geum-jae’s isolated Caitlyn to catch their breath and secured an additional Dragon.
At around the 23-minute mark, an extended fight broke out in front of kt Rolster’s third Dragon. After trading Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong’s Syndra for Jeon “Siwoo” Si-woo’s Olaf, kt Rolster scored heavily by picking up three unanswered kills in the resulting 4-v-4 skirmish. As spoils of victory, they completed their third Dragon stack and pushed down the outer mid turret.
Although Ezreal was caught out right before the Dragon Soul contest, Lee “PerfecT” Seung-min’s Trundle isolated Olaf with a Pillar of Ice during the retreat to set up a favorable fight, leading kt Rolster to another crushing teamfight victory. Securing both the Ocean Soul and Baron, kt Rolster traded Trundle to demolish the top inhibitor, firmly establishing control over major objectives.
Around the 36-minute mark, the Elder Dragon spawned. Dplus KIA bought time while Olaf drew attention, taking down Trundle and Effort’s Nautilus. However, kt Rolster held their ground despite being at a numerical disadvantage, playing out the mental battle before taking down Choi “Lucid” Yong-hyeok’s Xin Zhao after he engaged first to claim the Elder Dragon buff. Charging straight into the enemy base, kt Rolster destroyed the Game 1 Nexus.
