Dave Bautista has addressed his casting as Kratos in the upcoming God of War series. He’s replacing Ryan Hurst in the lead role after the actor sustained a serious on-set injury.
Posting on Instagram, the Guardians of the Galaxy star shared his training for the role, set to the audio of “Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in.” He captioned the video, “3rd week into weight training again. 2 more months to get to where I need to be. Like ridin’ a bike! LFG!”
Bautista recently lost a lot of weight after bulking up for his role in Knock at the Cabin. However, it seems like he’s pivoting once again to play Kratos in the upcoming Amazon adaptation of the beloved game.

The new update also confirms when filming is due to pick up again. There were initial reports that production would resume in mid-October, but it seems like this is actually closer to November based on Bautista’s caption.
Based on the hugely popular PlayStation video game franchise, the Amazon God of War series is being adapted by Ronald D. Moore. The story follows Kratos and his son Atreus as they travel to the highest peak in the nine realms to spread the ashes of their wife and mother Faye.
As well as Bautista, the show stars Callum Vinson, Teresa Palmer, Max Parker, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Mandy Patinkin, and Ed Skrein. Kratos’ video game actor Christopher Judge recently revealed that he also read to play the live-action version of the character, but says he had “no desire” to be the lead actor of a TV show again.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
